Biography

Amuuna is a London based trance DJ, producer and remixer. Originally from Lancashire, he began DJing in Sheffield in 1999 and has since gone on to play as far as Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia where he appeared at superclubs The Backroom and Nouvo, spearheaded Malaysia’s most successful weekly club night Compression Sessions at Emporium, held a residency at Embassy in Singapore and featured at the legendary Full Moon Party on Kho Pha-Ngan island in Thailand.

Back in London, Amuuna has focused on studio work and has worked with and remixed for several established and up-and-coming artists including Lara McAllen.

Recently, Amuuna’s solo single – Seventh Level – made its debut on BBC Radio One courtesy of Judge Jules and has since been playlisted by world’s #4 DJs Above & Beyond on their acclaimed Trance Around The World show on Anjunabeats radio and has also picked up plays by Agnelli & Nelson. Amuuna’s other recent tracks have reached the top 10 in the UK’s Commercial Dance Charts, been played on MTV Dance, Q Radio, Five, Six and Seven FM, Singapore Airlines Radio and have been commissioned to over 1’000 high profile gym chains – including Virgin Active, LA Fitness and Fitness First – across the UK.
